The Archway, Delbarton’s yearbook, was first published in 1948 and was named after the archway of Old Main, the very archway that the initial graduating students would pass as they departed Delbarton to pastures new. Today, The Archway, now a long-standing tradition at Delbarton, is thought of as Delbarton’s premier publication, intent on continuing the task of comprehensively recording the memories of its particular year for posterity and to act as a stately bridge over time to unite the members of their classes with each other as well as all those who revere Delbarton as their Alma Mater.
Managed as a fully professional publishing house, students in ALL grades 7-12, under the stewardship of student editors and its moderator, are welcome every day after school to participate in a variety of professional tasks that include: Editorial skills, marketing, photography, Photoshop, typography as well as learning to develop contemporary graphic design skills.
