we live committed

SPIRITUALITY AT DELBARTON IS AS QUIET AS A PRAYER — YET ACTIVE IN EVERY WAY.  FAITH AND SERVICE WILL INVIGORATE ALL YOU DO AND LEARN HERE.

Led by the Benedictine monks of St. Mary’s Abbey, Delbarton continues a 1,500-year tradition of Catholic education that guides students to strive for scholastic and spiritual excellence.

St. Mary's Abbey Church and the adjacent monastery are a vital focal point of our campus, just as the values and example of the Benedictine monks create a vital focus for the Delbarton experience.

We welcome those of all faiths who are eager to take a personal as well as intellectual journey.

campus ministry

Through our Office of Mission and Ministry, students lead a Campus Ministry program that is at the heart of faith formation at Delbarton.

Each year, six student Campus Ministers, 70 Retreat Leaders and 100 Student Service coordinators manage our Campus Ministry retreat and service programs. Service is voluntary, yet everyone serves—because here, we are men for others.

Benedictine Values

As you seek relationships with others and with something greater than yourself, you will be empowered in spirit to take on the life of the mind and body.

Through communal worship and silent reflection, retreats and Theology coursework, prayer and service, we invite every young man to find God and themselves at Delbarton.

Sustainability

The Delbarton community lives out Pope Francis’ call to care for our common home through student-led recycling programs, energy-saving initiatives, a Garden for Good that provides local food donations, and more
