The Delbarton Career Center (DCC) is for ALL Delbarton alumni at any point in their careers. The mission of the DCC is to provide high-quality career services to Delbarton alumni.
Alumni Services
- Provide career guidance.
- Assist in each phase of career placement:
- Job Search
- Resume building
- LinkedIn profile & cover letter reviews
- Mock interviews
- Host recruiting and networking events where alumni meet hiring managers.
- Provide alumni mentors upon request
- Maintain alumni job board and communicate opportunities to targeting alumni groups.
- Administer and maintain industry LinkedIn groups.

Incorporates programs serving Delbarton alumni into a common framework, providing synergistic resources and consistency
- Career Networking, including affinity groups such as Arts, DCREN (Commercial Real Estate), DOW (Delbarton on Wall Street), DPMA (Private Markets), Tech, etc.
- Alumni Mentorship Program
- Alumni Career Day and DelEX externship program (for rising seniors)
- Supports the Advancement & Alumni Office, the Class Reps program, and the Regional Alumni Clubs
Formalizes services tailored to the individual needs of alumni
- Source job opportunities highly relevant to Delbarton alumni
- Sponsor regular career fairs at Delbarton for varied industries & fields
- Open targeted job searches, matching candidates’ profiles to available opportunities
- Assist with the job application process
- Review résumés, interview preparation, and interview follow-up
- Review candidates' social media profiles
- Analyze the job market, salary ranges, and compensation negotiation techniques
Works with companies looking to recruit Delbarton alumni, arranging for donations in lieu of finder’s fees
- Drives affinity group panel discussions, social gatherings, volunteer service projects, etc., as needed
- Surveys those served to provide a continuous improvement feedback loop and collect testimonials
- Collaborates with the Advancement & Alumni Office to evaluate/attribute giving by DCC beneficiaries for ROI purposes
