Tuition and Financial Aid
WE ARE COMMITTED TO MAKING A DELBARTON EDUCATION ACCESSIBLE TO QUALIFIED YOUNG MEN, REGARDLESS OF BACKGROUND.
Sending your son to an independent Catholic school is a significant investment. Delbarton works to bridge the gap between a family’s demonstrated financial need and the cost of attending Delbarton. We encourage all high school families (grades 9-12) concerned about Delbarton's affordability to apply for our Financial Aid Program.
*Please note: Delbarton does NOT offer financial aid to families in the Middle School (grades 7 and 8).
INTERESTING FACT: Our generous financial aid program makes Delbarton often LESS expensive to attend than area tuition-charging schools.
2025-26 Tuition: $48,725
Tuition is virtually all-inclusive. The only cost not covered by tuition is daily transportation to and from Delbarton ($3,500 or $7,000/year, depending on the route) for those who choose our in-house contract bus options.*
*$1,177 of this transportation cost could be reimbursed to you by your local school district if you live within 2 to 20 miles of Delbarton's campus (30 miles for specific rural counties) and if the school district provides bus transportation to public school students. Check with your local school district for information about their non-public school student transportation and aid-in-lieu of transporation (AIL) policies.
applying for financial aid
All financial aid awards are based on a family's demonstrated financial need, as determined by an independent financial aid assessment service (Clarity). No academic, leadership or athletic scholarships are awarded. Please note that we do not offer financial aid to Middle School students.
All aid is awarded as grants that do not need to be repaid. Families applying for financial assistance can also request a school application fee waiver.
The financial aid application process is confidential, secure and convenient. Awards remain with families for all years their son is enrolled, unless a family does not reapply for financial aid or there is a significant change in the family’s finances or the student’s academic or disciplinary record.
