Audiences enjoyed three dynamic performances of this year’s fall play, “The Farnsworth Invention', which was presented by Delbarton Abbey Players on October 29, 30 and 31.
Written by award-winning screenwriter and playwright Aaron Sorkin, “The Farnsworth Invention” tells the true story of the race to invent television. Delbarton actors and visiting thespians from area schools brought the fascinating tale to life on stage in the Fine Arts Center theater.
The play was directed by Matt Corica, and the cast of seventeen young actors did a superb job on a stage beautifully lit and designed by Manuel Da Silva and Antonio DiBernardo. Two members of the Class of 2017 who are Alumni Teaching Fellows also contributed their skills to the production: Roggi Chuquimarca '17 served as Assistant Director, and Andrew Gannon '17 led the hard-working Crew.
Bravo to all involved in this impressive production of "The Farnsworth Invention". Enjoy these photos from the final performace on October 31, 2021!
