Juniors Jack Finning and Anand Majmudar Selected for Prestigious Summer Programs

Two Delbarton juniors have been selected from very talented pools of applicants for two prestigious summer programs.

Jack Finning ‘22 was chosen to participate in this summer's Governor's School of Engineering & Technology hosted by the Rutgers University School of Engineering.

Jack will spend four weeks, free of charge, engaged in engineering and technology with others who share your interests.  Scholars will take 4 academic online classes, complete a virtual research and/or design project in a group of 4 - 5 students, and meet equally talented peers and professionals from across the state.  This summer's Governor's School of Engineering & Technology is made possible through sponsorship by Rutgers University, the State of New Jersey, corporate donors, Governor's School alumni, and a number of other donors.

Anand Majmudar ‘22 was selected for this summer's New Jersey Scholars ProgramMind and Body: The Future of Being Human.

The New Jersey Scholars program is a tuition-free five-week summer program for rising seniors of any high school in New Jersey. This summer, the program will offer an intensely focused curriculum on the rapid re-categorization of ‘the human being.’ Organizers hope to offer an in-person experience at The Lawrenceville School but final plans are yet to be determined.

The Delbarton community congratulates classmates Jack and Anand on their achievements and their prospects for each enjoying an intellectually stimulating summer 2021!
