After two years, Delbarton alumni met at the New York Athletic Club (NYAC) for the annual New York Reception hosted by Headmaster Fr. Michael Tidd, OSB, NYAC member Andy Grabis '95 and the Delbarton Alumni Association. On February 24, we had over one hundred and fifty alumni come together to enjoy drinks, hors d'oeuvres and brotherhood on a chilly but clear night in Manhattan.
They heard brief remarks from Assistant Headmaster for Advancement Craig Paris '82, who paid tribute to John Conner '53 (our former NYAC host). Next, Alumni Association President Chris Bury '91 reminded alumni of the immeasurable support Delbarton graduates offer to each other professionally and personally.
Bury and Alumni Association Vice President John Ferramosca '05 stressed the importance of “reemergence from the pandemic” as they encouraged their fellow alums to get involved with with events. Finally, Fr. Michael closed out the night expressing his gratitude for the turn out. “Two years ago, this was the biggest alumni event we had,” he began. “The one consistent thing was the inconsistency throughout the pandemic. But our community did what was necessary to get through it.” He wrapped up by reassuring his listeners that their alma mater was stronger than ever, and that their trust in Delbarton is well placed.

From there, the night unfolded with men from a wide range of classes reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. Thank you to all who joined us for another memorable evening at NYAC, and enjoy these reception photos...
