Our Mission Reflected at Delbarton’s Disco Ball Gala
Meghan Podimsky

On Saturday, February 21, the Delbarton community gathered for an unforgettable night of energy, music, and philanthropy at this year’s Disco Ball Gala, hosted at The Venetian. The glamour of the disco era set the tone for a lively celebration filled with community pride, connection, and purpose.

Guests arrived ready to dance and enjoy spirited conversation. Their dazzling attire and joyful energy transformed the ballroom into a shimmering tribute to both disco’s iconic flair and the traditions that define Delbarton School. With music that kept the crowd moving and laughter filling the room, the evening created memories that will last well beyond the night.

We were honored to welcome back featured speaker Ryan Trafford '24. A standout in football and lacrosse during his time at Delbarton, Trafford now exemplifies leadership, discipline, and humility as a student-athlete at the United States Naval Academy. In his remarks, he shared how the values he gained at Delbarton continue to guide his journey and shape his growth.

The night also featured an exciting live auction and energetic dancing. All proceeds supported Delbarton’s Give A Boy A Year financial aid initiative, which plays a vital role in making a transformative education accessible to deserving young men.

As always, the true highlight of the evening was the strong sense of community. Alumni, parents, faculty, and friends came together to celebrate, support, and strengthen the bonds that make Delbarton exceptional.

We are deeply grateful to our Gala chairs, Erika Desimone '27,  Melissa Ramsey '27, and Jean Marie Volpe '26, DMG President Dawn Hall P'25, '28, DMG Moderator and Director of Events and Parent Engagement Erin Manahan P '19, our Gala committee and volunteers, as well as all our event sponsors whose hard work and support made the Disco Ball Gala a true success.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the Disco Ball Gala. Your generosity continues to make a meaningful and lasting impact.
