On Saturday, September 21, the Delbarton Mothers' Guild hosted the annual Sip for Scholarship fundraiser. On the last summer night of 2024, our Delbarton community showed up in full force, eager to support to Give a Boy a Year.

The theme for this year’s event, Masquerwave, invites guests to don elaborate masks, evoking the allure of mystery and tradition found in classic masquerade balls. The intricate symbolism of Masquerwave reflects Delbarton’s commitment to fostering a vibrant community where tradition meets innovation. It encourages guests to embrace the transformative power of education and the strong bonds forged within the Delbarton Brotherhood. Now the real countdown begins as the Masquerwave Delbarton Gala will be on February 8, 2025 hosted at the stunning Venetian in Garfield, NJ!

The Give a Boy a Year fund is critical to Delbarton's mission, providing financial aid to over 100 students annually. By supporting this initiative, our students can live out our Benedictine values, ensuring that more deserving young men have the opportunity to experience a Delbarton education.

The event was a great success, with Delbarton mom and wine educator Sandra Zotti P’27 leading attendees through a curated selection of wines, all available for purchase. Each purchase contributed directly to Give a Boy a Year, adding a meaningful layer to the evening’s enjoyment.
