Join us for the 2025 Raising Hope Awareness Walk
Meghan Podimsky

Join us for the Raising Hope Awareness Walk on Saturday, September 27, at 9:30 a.m. at Lower Abbey Field. Suicide is the 11th leading cause of death in the U.S.—help us raise awareness and support mental health and suicide prevention.

The Raising Hope Awareness Walk exists to break the stigma surrounding mental illness, to shed light on the facts about suicide, to honor and remember those we have lost, and to show unwavering support for the families and friends affected.

Every step we take is a step toward change. All proceeds from the walk will go directly to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), a national leader in advancing research, creating resources, and building a culture that is compassionate, informed, and proactive about mental health. AFSP’s mission is to prevent suicide, support survivors, and bring hope to those who need it most.

This is a rain-or-shine event, and your participation truly makes a difference. Together, we can raise awareness, foster healing, and create a brighter future for all.
