Homecoming Album 2025
Jessica Fiddes

With festivities at every turn, Delbarton welcomed back alumni from across the ages on Saturday, September 20. Thank you to all who joined us for the Alumni Golf Outing at Fox Hollow Golf Club in Branchburg, NJ, the Hall of Honor Reception, the dedication of the Andrew Pearson Cross Country Course, the Alumni Soccer game, and the main event, Homecoming Day 2025.

To kick off the weekend, the Delbarton Council of Seniors hosted a Homecoming Pep Rally in the FAC that featured interviews with fall sports captains, a karaoke competition that teacher Kevin Conn won with a stunning rendition of an aria from Puccini's La Boheme, and a well-produced Pep Rally video.

Mother Nature gifted us with picture-perfect weather for Homecoming Day, a beautiful day that bridged the gap between summer and fall. That morning, the new Delbarton Cross Country course was dedicated to the late Andrew Pearson '09 with a large group of family, friends and the Green Wave Cross Country team in attendance. Andrew's mother Christine Pearson P '09,'11,'14,'14 spoke eloquently about her son and his love of long-distance running.

Next, Soccer alumni gathered at Ryan Family Field for a pick-up game (with no injuries) to launch Homecoming 2025.

Headmaster Fr. Michael Tidd, O.S.B. hosted a well-attended Mass in Spada Commons for returning alumni and their families.

By noon, Delbarton's campus had an overflow crowd of students, alumni, families, and friends who enjoyed grazing on picnic fare served at outstandingly decorated parent-hosted food tents. Many alumni and families also hit Delbarton Shop under tent a massive pop-up shop packed with great merchandise. Each grade level tent demonstrated the can-do spirit of Delbarton parents who set the bar higher year after year...

Meanwhile, younger siblings and alumni families enjoyed fun activities and food in the Garden and on the Fine Arts Center Plaza...

After a dramatic march down and procession onto the field led by kilt-attired pipers with Student Body President Dara Corr '26 and his Senior Council...

...the crowd settled in to watch the Green Wave Varsity Football give its all against St. Peter's Prep but came up with a loss, final score 42-7.

After the football game, our alumni and families partied in the Garden while we snapped classic reunion class photos.

Thank you to all the students, parents, alumni, and Delbarton staff members for contributing exceptional energy, time, and talent to make Delbarton Homecoming 2025 an outstanding campus-wide party. Enjoy our favorite highlights from the day...
