Summer is almost here... and so is Delbarton Summer Programs! Now is the time to lock in your spot, whether you're looking to sharpen skills, explore new interests, or get ahead for the upcoming school year, as Delbarton offers dynamic, enriching courses taught by expert faculty.

Here’s a preview of what you can expect:

Summer Sharpeners (Grades 3–6)

Get ready to kickstart your morning with engaging co-ed classes designed to boost skills in reading, writing, math, speaking, and collaboration. Our Summer Sharpener sessions are known for their energetic and fun learning environment, and they pair perfectly with a 10:00 AM Delbarton sports camp. Each class is a unique experience, and parents receive detailed progress reports to stay up to date on student growth.

Summer Speech Workshop

Led by Ms. Mary Gormley, Delbarton's award-winning Speech & Debate Coach, this course is a must for students who want to gain confidence in public speaking. Whether you're eyeing a spot on a debate team or simply want to present with poise, this dynamic workshop will help students communicate with clarity and impact.

A Bridge to AP History

Veteran AP teacher Mr. John Thompson brings his expertise to this two-session course that prepares students for the demands of AP European and Modern World History. Students practice AP-style questions, develop research and writing skills, and build test-taking strategies that set them up for high school success. Parents receive daily progress reports to track development every step of the way.

How to Write a Research Paper

Also taught by Mr. Thompson, this week-long course offers a step-by-step guide to writing a high school research paper. With access to extensive materials and expert instruction, students leave with the tools and confidence to tackle academic writing. As with all our academic programs, parents receive updates on student progress throughout the week.

Remote Learning Options: Geometry and Pre-Calculus

Need a more flexible summer schedule? Our remote learning courses in Geometry and Pre-Calculus, led by Delbarton faculty Mr. Charles Johnson and Mr. Kacy Kane, allow students to complete coursework at their own pace, with the benefit of teacher support and guidance throughout the experience.

Math Clinic

Personalized instruction is the hallmark of our Math Clinic, run by longtime Delbarton Guidance Counselor and Math Teacher Mrs. Kelly Gleason. Offered in two sessions (8:05–9:50 AM and 10:05–11:50 AM), the clinic is tailored to each student’s needs with one-on-one tutoring and progress updates sent directly to parents.

Spaces are filling fast! Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of the Delbarton Summer School experience.
