The Delbarton Robotics and Engineering teams went undefeated at the Upper Central League Meet in Somerset on December 13, delivering standout performances that boosted their league and state rankings.

Competing among 52 league teams and 208 statewide, Delbotics (#755) rose to 2nd in the league and 4th in the state after a 5–0 day highlighted by a meet-high 140-point match and 11 autonomous artifacts. Mechanical Wave (#31149) also finished 5–0, earning the best overall performance of the meet and climbing to 6th in the league and 15th statewide. Both teams continue strong midseason momentum.

Co-Moderator Brian Theroux (with Owen Steele and John Segreto) says, "Our robots and drivers are putting up significant scores match after match, demonstrating an ability to prepare well and adapt to changing situations. We are only at the halfway point of the season, there is still much work left to do."

The Delbotics team now has a 9-1 record for the season, with a 4.1 Rank Score and 95.4 Match Points. The team is led by Raymond Xu '26, Makayo Cheung '28, Daniel Meng '27, Riley Ross '26 and Christopher Conely '27.

Mechanical Wave now has a 8-2 record for the season, with a 3.6 Rank Score and 84.3 Match Points. The team is led by Mason Chu '28, Ivan Petrov '30, Zach Wan '28 and Max Lin '29.

As Co-Moderator John Segreto says, “Now is when the fun really starts.”
