Golfers enjoyed a superb day of golf and comraderie on the links (interrupted only briefly by a rain shower) followed by drinks on the patio and a buffet dinner.

After a welcome and a quick review of Golf Classic history from Alumni Association VP Tim Fitzimmons '95, Headmaster Br. Paul Diveny thanked the group for supporting an event that raises funds for the Delbarton School Endowment Fund. Past Alumni Association President Jerry Jabbour '92 served as an able auctioneer and conducted a spirited live auction that kept the crowd laughing and bidding for prizes ranging from sports tickets and golf to a lovely portrait of Old Main donated by the artist, American Impressionist John Traynor '79.

A salute to Alumni Association President John Tonzola '95 and the alumni who masterminded what has become a popular Delbarton alumni tradition. Hats off to Chris Bury '91, John McEvoy '89 and Tim Fitzsimmons '95 for organizing this year's Classic. All agreed that the seventh Golf Classic was a great time and a major success, all in the name of the Delbarton School Endowment Fund.
