Delbarton Forensic Society members competed successfully and returned home with some impressive hardware from the 50th Annual Liberty Bell Classic Tournament from February 7-9 at the University of Pennsylvania. "Another extraordinary February weekend in the books", reported Moderator Mary Gormley in her official recap.
In Speech, Dominick Beck '25 advanced to the Quarters in Extemporaneous Speaking and Josh Chung '25 reached the finals in Informative Speaking and placed 3rd overall. In Congress, James Freshwater '25 advanced to the finals and placed 9th overall. In Novice PF, Jake Caravello '27 and Ryan White '27 advanced to Doubles and Seventh graders Remy Sardar '30 and Elijah Massey '30 advanced to Octofinals. Remy received the Top Speaker award, Elijah came in 2nd. In Varsity Public Forum Debate all three teams advanced: Riley Ross '26 and Andy Kapp '27 advanced to Triples; Aiden D'Souza '25 and Suhass Valiveti '25 advanced to Doubles; Michael Aiello '26 and Raymond Xu '26 advanced to finals and were declared Co-Champions.
