Over 150 Delbarton alumni gathered at the prestigious New York Athletic Club (NYAC) on Thursday, February 27 for the annual New York Reception. Hosted by Headmaster Fr. Michael Tidd, OSB, NYAC member Andy Grabis '95, and the Delbarton Alumni Association, the event took place on a warm February night in Manhattan, providing the perfect setting for an evening filled with brotherhood and camaraderie.
The evening kicked off with Assistant Headmaster for Advancement Craig Paris '82 honoring John Conner '53, the former NYAC host. Paris reflected on the importance of the gathering and set the tone for the evening's festivities.
Next, Alumni Association President Joe Ferraro '95 took the stage, emphasizing the invaluable support Delbarton graduates offer one another, both personally and professionally. He urged alumni to get involved in the various initiatives of the Alumni Association, including the upcoming Delbarton Career Center launching in the fall of 2026. "You get an opportunity, you give an opportunity," Ferraro encouraged.
Fr. Michael concluded the presentations by expressing his gratitude for the continued support of our strong alumni network.
With the formalities complete, the evening became an opportunity for alumni from various graduating classes to reconnect and form new bonds. Set against the iconic NYAC backdrop, the atmosphere was alive with shared memories and laughter, making for a memorable night for all.
We thank everyone who joined us in the city that never sleeps!
