Delbarton Alumni Reunite at Annual NYAC Reception
Meghan Podimsky

More than one hundred and fifty alumni gathered at the New York Athletic Club on February 19, 2026, for the annual New York Regional Reception. It was an evening celebrating brotherhood, camaraderie, and the enduring strength of the Long Green Line.

Alumni from across the decades reconnected in midtown Manhattan as the reception, co-hosted by Assistant Headmaster for Advancement Craig Paris ’82, NYAC member Andy Grabis ’95, and leaders of the Delbarton Alumni Association, welcomed graduates living and working throughout the New York metropolitan area.

Alumni Association President Joe Ferraro ’95 opened the evening by sharing updates from campus and highlighting the momentum behind Delbarton’s alumni initiatives. He spoke enthusiastically about the nationwide expansion of Delbarton Collegiate, the School’s growing alumni network designed for young graduates navigating the college world. Ferraro also announced that the construction of the brand-new Alumni Career Center is underway, aimed at supporting mentorship, career development, and professional networking across the Delbarton community.

Headmaster Fr. Michael Tidd, O.S.B., then addressed the group, offering insights on Delbarton admissions and the college process for seniors. He highlighted the School’s growing geographic reach, noting, “We are expanding our reach all over the country. Last year, we sent students to 70 different colleges.”

The program continued with remarks from Director of the Career Center and DelEX Moderator Jim Gallombardo '81. He encouraged alumni to host rising seniors for this summer’s DelEX program. "Please consider hosting at your office or hosting on campus. You will see firsthand the caliber of students Delbarton is turning out today.”

As the formal program concluded, the evening transitioned into spirited conversation, shared stories, and renewed connections — a powerful reflection of the brotherhood that continues to unite Delbarton alumni across generations.

Thank you to all who joined us in New York City and helped make this year’s reception another meaningful celebration of community, connection, and Delbarton pride.
