Big Ideas, Bold Moves: Inside Delbarton's 2025 Expo
Meghan Podimsky

On May 1, the lobby of the Fine Arts Center came alive with creativity and entrepreneurial spirit as twenty-two innovative products took center stage at the annual Delbarton Incubator Expo. This highly anticipated event, akin to the popular television show Shark Tank, showcased the culmination of months of hard work and ingenuity by Delbarton's senior students.

Under the guidance of Mr. David Martin and at the heart of the Entrepreneurial Studies class is the Delbarton Incubator, a sought-after senior elective where students collaborate in small teams to conceive, develop, and market problem-solving products. Over 45% of the senior class enrolled in this year's course, and the Class of 2025 put their best foot forward with their projects.

As the day progressed, the Expo opened its doors to our alumni judges, parents, students, and faculty members, transforming the school's FAC Lobby into a bustling marketplace of innovation. Amidst vibrant displays and enthusiastic pitches, senior students showcased their inventions with passion and poise, impressing attendees with their entrepreneurial acumen and creativity. This year's Alumni judges included Stephen Bienko '94, Joe Colangelo '03, and Owen Lee '03.

The Delbarton Incubator Expo not only celebrates the innovative spirit of its students but also serves as a testament to the school's commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and real-world problem-solving skills. With each passing year, this collaborative endeavor continues to inspire and empower the next generation of innovators.
