Each year, the Delbarton Art Department invites an artist to exhibit his or her work in the FAC lobby for our community to enjoy.  Last year's artist was Alex Maxwell.  This year, we are pleased to welcome the Art Department's own Yaiza Dominguez, a Delbarton art teacher and portraitist who has agreed to exhibit her work. A native of Spain, Dominguez has earned Masters degrees in both Fine Art and Photography and shares her exceptional talent on a daily basis with Delbarton students. 

Delbarton Visual Arts Coordinator and fellow professional artist Caitlin Servilio says, "Yaiza creates stunning portraits in graphite, pastel, and digital drawing.  Her intimate and closely observed work often focuses on motherhood and children, including her son, and I know the Delbarton community is going to enjoy this peek into Yaiza's studio practice."

The show officially launches with an Opening Reception on Friday, December 6 from 3 to 4pm, an event that is open to the public and features light refreshments.  The Tenderness and Transformation Exhibit will be on display in the FAC Lobby from December 2, 2024 to January 6, 2025. All are welcome!
