AP Art Spotlight: Grant Dangler '23
Meghan Podimsky

This year, Delbarton is blessed with ten artists in the Class of 2023 who shared their work at an AP Art Exhibit currently displayed in the FAC for the month of February. To give each of these talented young men the audience he deserves, we are highlighting each artist in our annual AP Artist Spotlight series.

Introducing our third featured artist, Grant Dangler '23.

Grant says this about his art journey in his Artist Statement:

"I have always had a passion for art. When I was younger, my family would always orchestrate an arts and crafts activity during the holidays. At times my siblings and I would have art competitions, making our parents judge them. These family moments increased my love for creating works of art."

With his love for the Jersey Shore, Grant pulled inspiration for his Sustained Investigation from the boardwalk. "I absolutely love experiencing all the exciting aspects of boardwalk life. My artwork portrays a myriad of distinctive images that characterizes the thrill, movement, romanticism, and overall joy of the place," he said.

Enjoy this collection of Grant's art below. We salute him and his fellow AP Art artists for their exceptional achievements in the arts at Delbarton this year!
