AP Art Exhibit Opens in the Fine Arts Center
Meghan Podimsky

Delbarton’s Fine Arts Center is once again alive with creativity as the annual AP Art Exhibit officially opens for the community. This year’s showcase features the work of thirteen AP Studio Art students, each presenting a unique portfolio that highlights months of exploration, experimentation, and refinement.

The AP Art curriculum challenges students to develop a sustained investigation of ideas, materials, and techniques. Throughout the year, our artists push themselves to discover their individual voices while building strong technical foundations. The exhibit celebrates that journey — from early concepts to the polished pieces now displayed in the FAC.

Visitors will find a wide range of media represented, including drawing, painting, design, mixed media, digital work, and more. Each collection reflects the dedication, creativity, and personal perspective of its artist. Faculty and classmates alike have already praised this year’s group for its ambitious themes and thoughtful execution.

Delbarton’s Fine Arts Department continues to uphold the School’s commitment to fostering creativity and artistic growth. The AP Art Exhibit stands as a testament to the talent and hard work of our students, as well as the guidance of the faculty who support them.

We invite our community to experience the exhibit during regular school hours in the Fine Arts Center. Delbarton is set to host our annual AP Studio Art Reception on February 20 at 2:45 PM, where we will formally celebrate our student artists and their accomplishments.
