Alumni Gather for at The Madison Hotel for Winter Reps Dinner
Meghan Podimsky

On January 24, over sixty class reps from across the decades met at The Madison Hotel for the annual Winter Class Reps Dinner, a working meeting that was a great opportunity to reconnect with Delbarton friends while hearing news about the School. Alumni were joined by several members of the Class of 2023 who were there to represent the current senior class and report to alumni on life at Delbarton today.

After cocktail hour and the group photo below, Abbot Jonathan Licari, O.S.B. said grace to open the meeting.

Alumni Association President John Ferramosca '05 kicked off the night by welcoming his fellow alums to the annual meeting. Ryan Dooley ’91 updated the reps on the Delbarton Fund followed by Ferramosca and EJ DaCosta ‘10 reporting on the Delbarton Collegiate and discussing young alumni initiatives. DaCosta continued the meeting by giving regional club updates. Dean of Admissions Dr. David Donovan confirmed with palpable enthusiasm that the School continues to attract a large group of well-qualified applicants as acceptances went out the week prior. Neil Murphy '06 provided the group with a college guidance update as Delbarton seniors are starting to get accepted into their colleges of choice.

Director of Alumni & Development Craig Paris ’82 and Br. Paul Diveny, O.S.B. presented the Joseph R. McDonough ‘68 Award to Chris Bury '91 P’19,’20,’23 for all his work with the Abbey Orchard Hard Cider project. Bury accepted the award with his wife Megan Bury P’19,’20,’23 and son Danny Bury '23 also in attendance.

Fr. Michael Tidd O.S.B. provided our alumni with a progress report on the state of Delbarton and what's to come between the new North Field House Complex Construction and Strategic Planning updates. Lastly, Fr. Michael offered the closing prayer to last night’s meeting. We thank all who joined us for this very positive state-of-Delbarton report! Enjoy these photos from last night's dinner meeting...
