A New Chapter Begins for the Classes of 2030 and 2032 at Delbarton
Meghan Podimsky

On Tuesday, January 27, Delbarton School warmly welcomed our newest Green Wave students and their families at the annual Accepted Students and Family Reception. This event marks the exciting beginning of their Delbarton journey.

As the new students arrived, they were greeted with enthusiastic cheers and high-fives from current students and walked away with Green Wave hats as a token of our school spirit.

Inside the Fine Arts Center (FAC) Auditorium, our incoming students were welcomed by Headmaster Fr. Michael Tidd, O.S.B., and Dean of Admissions Mr. Jake Ross, who shared a warm introduction to what makes the Delbarton experience special: the pursuit of excellence and the brotherhood of support that defines our school culture.

Throughout the event, accepted students heard from current Delbarton students who shared personal insights and stories about life at Delbarton, offering a glimpse into the academic opportunities, athletic traditions, and close-knit community that awaits them. Meanwhile, parents connected during a reception in Old Main, fostering new relationships and a sense of community as they embark on this exciting next chapter with their sons.

The Delbarton Shop was bustling with families and new students alike, offering a chance to pick up Green Wave essentials and celebrate the moment together.

It was a joy to meet the newest members of the Classes of ’30 and ’32 and to welcome them into the Delbarton community officially. We look forward to watching these young men grow and thrive as part of the Green Wave!
