AUDITION FOR THE ABBEY PLAYERS
Auditions for the Delbarton Abbey Players' winter musical will take place November 11, 12, and 13 at 3:00pm - 5:00pm in the Delbarton Fine Arts Center Auditorium. All actors are asked to be at the audition for the entire time. Auditionees will be asked to fill out an information sheet upon arrival which will detail any prior experience. (Resumes, if available, can be attached to the information sheet.)
We ask all actors to be present for both Monday and Tuesday's auditions. Wednesday will be reserved for callbacks; a list will be sent out via e-mail Tuesday evening. Please contact Mr. Corica or Mr. Blazier with conflicts.

THE DELBARTON ABBEY PLAYERS PRESENT - WEST SIDE STORY
This year Delbarton will be staging "West Side Story", the classic collaboration of Bernstein's music, Sondheim's lyrics, and choreography by Jerome Robbins. Each year the theater program at Delbarton school has grown in prestige and talent, and what better way to celebrate than with this iconic musical?
Audition materials will be posted shortly on this page. The audition materials are meant to showcase a students vocal range, ability to project their voice, establish and maintain a character, speak with appropriate and varied inflection, and use the stage and movement. Students will be asked to:
Prepare a short song from the show. (link below. Audio files of the piano accompaniment now posted below)
*ALL BOYS - Boys are asked to sing "Officer Krupke" and "Maria". Please notice where the music says to begin and end.
*ALL GIRLS - Girls are asked to sing "Tonight" and "I Feel Pretty". There is also a posting of "A Boy Like That" for alto girls who know that the high A's in "I Feel Pretty" will be a problem. Please notice where the music indicates for you to begin and end.
*memorization is not required but it is certainly welcome!
