Delbarton artist Tim Welman '14 recently sold one of his works at the PRESS PAWS charity art show. The exhibition took place on February 9, 2013 at Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra, CA. Guests were invited to buy art to support local animal rescue...."Save animals with the power of art and video games!" Artists and digital designers from around the country were invited to donate pieces that showed animals in video games, and Tim's piece made the cut for the exhibition.

We first met Welman in 2011 when we wrote about his freshman project which was selected that year as one of the top five profiled in Delbarton Today. We discovered his love of sculpture and digital design, and have watched him grow as an artist ever since. Check out his tumblr blog here and keep going back because he is always posting new ideas. He already has 3300 followers since starting his blog last summer. Not too shabby.

Welman is also deeply invested in creating graphics and shooting photos for Delbarton publications. We commend him for sharing his art for a good cause and look forward to seeing more of his work...Go Wave Arts!
