On Tuesday, October 16, 2012 The Most Rev. Arthur Serratelli, Bishop of Paterson, said Mass at Delbarton. Click here for photos. At the end of the service School President JP Campbell '13 shared a check that for funds raised by Delbarton students to support the Tri County Scholarship Fund. The Fund supports scholarships to Catholic schools in the Paterson diocese. Jamie Downey '13, representing Campus Ministry, presented the Bishop with an edition of The Rule of St. Benedict on behalf of the service group.

Bishop Serratelli also came bearing a gift: he granted Delbarton students the day off on Monday, November 26th to extend their Thanksgiving break. All agreed this was a nice present to receive on a beautiful Tuesday in October. After Mass the Bishop met in the Abbey common room with students who assisted during the service. He was accompanied by Br. William Dygert, C.S.C, the recently appointed diocesan Superintendent of Schools, who chatted with Delbarton administrators while the Bishop talked politics with students.

Thank you for coming, Bishop Serratelli!
