Times Flies When You're Having Fun: Wave Soccer Senior Day

Again and again we hear the lament from students and parents alike...time flies at Delbarton. "He's a senior already?"
On September 15, 2012 Green Wave Soccer hosted its annual Delbarton Soccer Senior Day at Ryan Family Soccer Field and many parents were probably struck by how quickly their sons' years playing Green Wave Soccer have flown. Click here for more great photos from the day taken by Suzanne Seifert P'13.
After welcoming remarks by Athletic Director Dan Whalen and an opening prayer from Headmaster Br. Paul Diveny Delbarton faced Parsippany Hills High School in an exciting varsity game. At halftime Coach David Donovan introduced his seventeen seniors, each of whom presented his parents with a white rose. A large contingent of fans cheered the team on from the sidelines to a 5-1 victory over Parsippany Hills.
Soocer boosters supplied refreshments throughout the game and Senior Day 2012 was a memorable and photogenic event. Go Wave Soccer!
