Heaven Can Wait...This is Soccer Paradise

Heaven can wait...last night's Soccer Picnic was paradise. Was it the perfect weather? Was it the smiling crowd thanks to this week's two big Varsity shut outs? Whatever. At 6:30 pm on September 13th the view from the balcony overlooking the Senior Garden looked like a piece of heaven. Click here for photos.
As shadows deepened, teammates gathered in clusters of middle school, freshman, JV and varsity teams, parents and younger siblings mingled, tables were heavy with tempting picnic fare. Headmaster Br. Paul Diveny said grace, Varsity Head Coach Dave Donovan introduced coaches to the crowd and dinner was served.
That was some picnic, and some week for Wave Soccer currently ranked No. 6 in the Star Ledger Top 20. Keep kicking, gentlemen, you are clearly on a roll.
