Over the weekend the Star Ledger profiled actor Peter Dinklage '87, star of the HBO hit series Game of Thrones and voice of piratical primate who takes the prehistoric heroes hostage in Ice Age: Continental Drift. “I’ve never done the voice for a cartoon and it was terrific fun,” he told the reporter. “I got a song, too, which was great. We’re all opera singers in our showers, I guess, but this was the first time I got to sing in a movie.” (Read the Ledger profile here.)

The Ledger writes, "He went on to the Delbarton School in Morristown, 'which is an amazing school — but where I didn’t really fit in." We are happy to report that Delbarton is still an amazing school and nowadays actors like Dinklage fit right in. In fact, we built the Fine Arts Center in 2006 just to give performers, designers, musicians and artists their own home away from home. Talk about amazing!

Dinklage is off to Northern Ireland to shoot the next season of Thrones, and starting this Friday you can catch him in Ice Age: Continental Drift.

We salute thee, Tyrion!
