After listening to candidate speeches during M Block on April 19th, on Friday, April 20th Delbarton students voted for next year's School officers. The candidates for president, vice president, treasurer and secretary were introduced by current School president Matt Gibbons '12. A brief summary of issues facing next year's school leaders reads like this: current leadership: awesome, minus that hashtag Spirit Week t-shirt (note: if that's the biggest complaint consider this year a home run); Food: needs improvement and, quite possibly, Sage Dining has taken Br. Paul's entreaty to recyle a bit too far; Spirit Week: let's put the 'week' back in Spirit Week. (Refer to Ugly Sweater Protest)
Congratulations to all candidates for having the courage to put their names on the line. They are Mike Pesce '13 , Vancliff Johnson '13, Patrick Darche '13, Asad Braswell '13, Augie Atencio '13, Brian Reilly '13 and J.P. Campbell '13. For the record, after Friday's vote, next year's student leaders are:
