Bryan Bennett Tennis Tourney This Weekend (Tennis Boys (Varsity))

Heads up, tennis fans. This weekend the 18th Annual Bryan Bennett Tournament takes place at Delbarton and Villa Walsh. Click for the program... schedule ... brackets.
Tennis head coach Mr. John Thompson reports that the tournament begins Saturday at 8:00 am and runs to around 6:00 pm. The tournament resumes on Sunday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
The tournament was named in honor of Bryan Bennett, class of 1994, who died tragically in the World Trade Center attack on 9/11. Bryan played tennis for Delbarton from 1992-1994 where he was captain of the team during his senior year, playing first singles, and competed on the Delbarton team that captured the first championship of the Delbarton invitational. His quiet leadership, integrity, and enthusiasm for life lives on in our tennis program and at Delbarton School to this day. The Tournament that memorializes his life has grown into the largest and most competitive tennis invitationals around the state.
The Wave Tennis program invites the Delbarton community to enjoy some superb tennis this weekend, served up with some great food courtesy of the Wave Tennis boosters who will be manning the grill all weekend. Go Wave Tennis!
