Anyone fortunate enough to attend Headmaster Br. Paul Diveny's gallery talk on Sunday, January 9, 2010 was in for a rare treat: attendees enjoyed an interesting lecture on the works of French photographer Robert Doisneau, followed by a lovely brunch provided by the Delbarton Arts Consortium. Note that Br. Paul will repeat his lecture in a slightly abbreviated format during M Block (10:05 am - 10:35 am) on Tuesday, January 11th in the FAC Theater. The Delbarton commmunity, including students, parents and friends, is welcome to attend. Doisneau's photographs, a gift of Robert O'Mara '60, are currently on display in the FAC upper and lower lobbies. Stop by to appreciate the beauty and historical significance of these rare photos taken in the outskirts of Paris during the 1930s and 40s.
