Best in Show...Again!

Congratulations to Mike Kwilos '12 who brought home some major hardware by winning Best-in-Show at the 24th Annual High School Student Art Show sponsored by the Blackwell Street Center for the Arts Inc. This marks the second Best-in-Show for Delbarton at this event. Peter Kristiansen '10 previously won the award back in 2009.

Twenty-four Delbarton artworks were accepted to this year's highly competitive show and the following Delbarton artists won awards:

Matthew Bogan '13 - Honorable Mention - Ceramics

Austin Crann '13 - 3rd Place - Charcoal Drawing

Steve Penny '12 - Honorable Mention - Charcoal Drawing

Steve Rybicki '12 - Honorable Mention - Scratchboard

Mike Kwilos '12 - 3rd Place & Honorable Mention - Printmaking

Daniel Blanc '12 - Honorable Mention - Printmaking

Other Delbarton students whose works were selected for the juried exhibition are Mark Pizzi '12, Eric Shiuey '12, Sean Onderdonk '12 and Patrick Darche'13.

The High School Art Show runs from March 19 - May 10th at the Atrium Gallery, Morristown County Courthouse. All are invited to stop by and see Delbarton talent on display with that of other gifted high school artists.
