There will be a mandatory Operation Smile meeting for all members this Thursday at M Block in the Gregory room to discuss the Bowl-a-thon, t-shirts, and the spring event.

OP SMILE BOWL-A-THON-THIS SATURDAY

The Operation Smile Club will be hosting its annual Bowl-a-thon this Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Madison Plaza Lanes from 12-2pm. There will be pizza, drinks, and time to socialize with the other members from the Oak Knoll, Kent Place, and other local clubs. Anyone is free to participate, just submit the $15 registration fee to Mrs. Serrano asap. See Sean Doherty with any questions.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH FAIR

On Monday February 27th the History Club will hosts its annual Black History Month fair after school in the Gregory Room. Activities include Faculty-Student trivia contest, debates, presentations on Black History, music, art, literature, middle school trivia contest, and food.

AP LANGUAGE APPLICANTS

If you are applying to any AP Language course for next year come to the Language Dept. Office (T326) in order to pick up an application. You will have to complete a mandatory writing sample during M-Block (in the appropriate language tutoring center) and schedule an interview with the appropriate AP Lang. teacher. GREENER WAVE: eWASTE DRIVE

Did you get a new cellphone or computer for Christmas? What are you doing with the old devices? The Greener Wave is having an eWaste Drive from 2/13-2/22. Bring in the items you are not using so we can dispose of them properly. (Cellphones, computers, monitors, laptops, etc.) Put your items in the Trinity Hall main lobby or down by the Gregory Room.

The next Habitat for Humanity trip is Saturday, 02/25. Permission slips are available on the campus ministry bulletin board in the main hallway. You must be 16 or older to participate. We leave from the bus loop at 8:00 am and return by 4:30 pm. Submit both forms filled out by your parents, and put in Mr. Cote’s box ASAP.
