DEADLINE APPROACHING

RETREAT TEAM & SERVICE COORDINATOR APPLICATIONS have been emailed to all current sophomores and juniors. If you are a sophomore or junior, then you are eligible to apply for one or both of these key leadership positions in the school. The Retreat Team Leaders are given a particular freshman or sophomore retreat to prepare and lead under the direction of a member of the 2014 Campus Ministry Team. The Service Coordinators are chosen to lead a specific community service project under the direction of a Faculty moderator as well as a member of the 2014 Campus Ministry Team. Please do not waste a moment’s time – fill out the applications and return them to Mr. Hajduk ASAP! If you were a retreat team leader or service coordinator this year, you must re-apply. And to repeat, you can and should apply for both positions! Deadline is THIS FRIDAY, May, 24.

RELAY FOR LIFE-MEETING

A community walk sponsored by the American Cancer Society will be held Saturday, June 22, beginning at 5pm at Spring St. at Morris Street (Lot #10), behind the Morristown Diner. Then, begin fundraising! We plan to arrange for 2 hour shifts so no one has to be there the entire time. This is a great event – get involved! ARMY SUPPLY DRIVE

Delbarton will be holding an Army Supply Drive for our troops in Afghanistan, specifically alum Billy McAloon '05, beginning on Monday in the main lobby of Trinity. Billy is from Madison and after Delbarton, graduated from the Naval Academy in 2010. He was deployed October 2012 and is currently stationed in Helmad Province, Afghanistan at Camp Leatherneck. Billy and his fellow soldiers would greatly appreciate any supplies from his Delbarton community. Here is a list of suggestions directly from Afghanistan: Wet wipes, Nuts (cashews, almonds, Blue Diamond Spicy Habanero BBQ Almonds), Magazines, Protein Bars, General Hygiene Products, Cards, Hot Hands, Disposable Razors, and Shaving Cream. If anyone has any questions about the drive please contact David Murphy.

DELBARTON ARTS FESTIVAL

The Delbarton Arts Festival will be held on Wednesday, May 22 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Delbarton Fine Arts Center. All are welcome! Please join us for a wonderful evening of music, art and food as we honor all our students in the arts at Delbarton with a special recognition for our Seniors in the Arts. Event includes silent and live art auction. Cost of the event is $25 pp for all students, adults and children 5 and older. Children under 5 are free. DELBARTON COFFEEHOUSE

On Friday, May 24th from 7 -10 is Delbarton’s final coffeehouse for the year! Coffeehouse will be full of music, poetry and sometimes even comedy. It’s a great way to relax and have fun with friends while simultaneously eating and listening to music. What’s not to love? Even more, the $5 entrance fee goes directly to charity. We are also selling t-shirts that help support future coffeehouses. If you are interested in performing in any way or have any questions about the event, contact Michael Berry or Johnny Tamburro.
