Former Green Wave javelin thrower Dean Sullivan '11 captured the event title in his first Outdoor Heptagonal Championship competition competing for the Harvard Crimson. On his final throw, Sullivan launched the javelin 208' 11" (63.68m) to win the competition by more than three feet.
Congratulations to Delbarton grad and former Wave football player Jack Reynolds '09 who has been named captain of the Amherst football team for the 2012-13 season.
