the delbarton difference

At Delbarton, you’ll work hard—and you’ll know you are better for it. You’ll think. And you’ll do. And you’ll think again. Here, learning is action, and it will engage your entire being, mind, body and soul.

Our exceptional faculty dynamically blends tradition and innovation to create an inspiring college preparatory experience informed by faith and values. As a Benedictine Catholic school, Delbarton shares the longest tradition in Western education, dating back nearly 15 centuries. We are rooted in the enormous collective and inherited wisdom of our cultural past, yet firmly embrace the necessary innovations that call us to boldly engage today’s challenges.

We ask much of all who choose a Delbarton education. Excellence in teaching and learning, growing and achieving, is what makes the Delbarton Difference.

YOUR TASK

Build and program a robot with speech-processing capabilities that can successfully interact with passersby.

You’ll work in a small collaborative team, with support from your teacher, who was previously an economist and entrepreneur. This will be your semester’s work for Coding and Design Through Robotics.
