InterLibrary Loans

This service is available to Delbarton students, faculty, staff and members of the St. Mary's Abbey.

How to Place an Interlibrary Loan Request
-Request forms are available from the library staff.
-Be sure to fill in all items of information called for on the form.
-Avoid using ABBREVIATIONS in authors names or titles.

Requesting Guidelines

-Interlibrary loan requires time. Material that can be borrowed from a library in New Jersey usually arrives within fourteen days.
-The conditions of interlibrary loan are set by the National Interlibrary Loan Code of the American Library Association.

Borrowing Conditions
-Borrowed material may be picked up at the library.
-You will be notified when the item you requested has arrived in the library.
-The loan period for borrowed books is generally four weeks.
-Books will be held for two weeks and if not picked up will be returned to the lending library.

Fees
-There is no charge to you for interlibrary loans.
