Computer Waiver Test

Delbarton School's Department of Computer Science requires each student to take a 1 term (2 credit) computer course in the 7th, 9th and 11th grades. There are three areas of courses: Applications, Programming and Web Design. Before a student can take Programming or Web Design courses he must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office. The proficiency must be at least at the level of CS112 Office 2007 I course. Proficiency can be demonstrated by

 

 

1- Taking and passing an Office course
( any Office course CS112, CS212, CS312 )

OR

2- Demonstrating proficiency on the SAM 2007 computer waiver test
given on-line at Delbarton on.
Wednesday 30 April 2008 at 7:00 p.m.

 

Waiver test for computer has been canceled.
You should receive confirmation in the mail.

Math Science and Language placement are still being given Saturday 3 May

 

The SAM 2007 on-line computer test is given in the Delbarton computer lab S208 and covers Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. The test involves four 15 minute modules, one for each product. A student will be able to take the tests in any order but once a test has been started it must be completed.Computer Lab 2008
