Participate in the Delbarton Fund today!

Help Delbarton sustain and hopefully surpass last year’s participation rate of 45.83%. Delbarton’s alumni participation remains at the top of the list when compared to other area independent schools and many national boarding schools. The outstanding commitment of alumni to the Delbarton Fund enables today’s students to benefit from longstanding Delbarton traditions--quality academics, excellence in athletics, arts and service, and exceptional facilities.

While the 2009-2010 Delbarton Fund does not close June 30, please consider a gift TODAY.   Traditionally, the majority of alumni contributions have been received during the final days and weeks of the fiscal year.  Last year, over 1,000 of the 1,870 gifts made came in during the month of June; these gifts accounted for almost half of the total dollars contributed by alumni.  However, the School needs operating support from the Delbarton Fund throughout the entire year; funds must be borrowed in order to meet operating costs if contributions are not received on a regular basis.  Budgeting for the upcoming year also becomes a challenge when gift receipts are not known until the end of the fiscal year.  By providing a more balanced flow of donations throughout the year, Delbarton will avoid unnecessary budgetary crunches during the year.

Thank you for your support.

Catch the Wave update: Congratulations to the Class of 1979!
Delbarton instituted a new giving award this year—the Catch the Wave Award—for the class with the highest participation rate by December 31st.  The recipients of the first annual Catch the Wave Award, the Class of 1979, increased their giving by an incredible 314% over last year’s December 31st figure, going from 7 donors to 29 donors, for an overall class participation rate of 40%.  Congratulations to the Class of 1979, and Class Reps Greg Bock, Bart Henderson, Bob Rouse, Chuck Ruebling and Scott Sterner.
