Procedure

Students may apply to Delbarton School for acceptance into grades seven through eleven, though most students enter the School in either the seventh or ninth grades. The admission season at Delbarton begins in September and concludes in January of a given academic year. The Admission Committee meets formally in January to make acceptance decisions for grades seven and nine, and in June for grades eight, ten, and eleven.

A boy's candidacy for admission will be considered only after he completes the application materials, school interview, and school entrance examination. It is in the best interest of every applicant, therefore, to initiate the admission process early.
